Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Ultimate Futebol Clube booed when Cagada Ensaiada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Amílton Severo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hortêncio Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Severo in the 8th minute of play forced Cagada Ensaiada FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Cagada Ensaiada FC's Clóvis de Amorim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clóvis de Amorim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cagada Ensaiada FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clóvis de Amorim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cagada Ensaiada FC! In the 14th minute Amílton Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Bittencourt took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Amorim. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Ultimate Futebol Clube's Vicente Bittencourt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Amílton Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Amorim having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match Jefferson Fontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hortêncio Amorim skillfully saved the ball. If Vicente Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos got free with Léo Aguiar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Bittencourt in the 74th minute of play forced Cagada Ensaiada FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Severo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, João Carlos Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hortêncio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Veloso in the 80th minute of the match. Cagada Ensaiada FC's Hortêncio Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Bittencourt in the 84th minute of play. Vicente Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hortêncio Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
