Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Claudinei de Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ediberto Quadros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Awakening's Luizinho Loyola got a free kick in the 8th minute. Awakening's Cláudio Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Esteves in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Loureiro in the 20th minute of play forced Japurá city's goalkeeper Jarbas Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Lino Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ediberto Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Lino Esteves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ediberto Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Nilton Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japurá city and the Awakening players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilton Jacinto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei de Lima in the 45th minute of play forced Japurá city's goalkeeper Jarbas Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Esteves to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ediberto Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cláudio Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Japurá city. Awakening's Claudinei de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dida Godoi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Japurá city booed when Awakening was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Guilherme Dantas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lino Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Gerber having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ediberto Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lino Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Gerber having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Lino Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Japurá city's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
