The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Fabian Monico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ONZE GUEREIROS F.C the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Martele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Monico to maneuver through the defense. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Christian Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Bertassi in the 12th minute of play. Neymar Gøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Dias having to interfere. When Fernando Chus came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Martele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Chus couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Neymar Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Reis to maneuver through the defense. Christian Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Bertassi in the 23rd minute of the match. Fernando Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match, Dagoberto Mattos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Helmut Tönnies saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35thth minute of the game Neymar Gøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Christian Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Dias having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Dagoberto Mattos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helmut Tönnies. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Ismael Viana got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Mattos was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to ONZE GUEREIROS F.C getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adelino Batista hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Martele got a freekick which was hit by Neymar Gøl. Helmut Tönnies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Quintal in the 59th minute of play. If Alan Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmut Tönnies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Mattos in the 64th minute of play forced Martele's goalkeeper Helmut Tönnies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Fabian Monico made a precise shot to the right of Christian Dias. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Martele's Fernando Chus got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dagoberto Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Doni Sena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helmut Tönnies skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute of the match, Neymar Gøl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Dias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emiliyan Vladichki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Martele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Martele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
