When Dênis Peres fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furtainha SC's protests and gave Dênis Peres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Furtainha SC's Dênis Peres got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, B1 Vegetal's Jorginho Rodrigues made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Cruz in the 76th minute of play. One of Furtainha SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of B1 Vegetal:s goal. Durval Costa had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Serafim Motta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Furtainha SC's Durval Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Motta in the 92nd minute of play. Durval Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Motta's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Durval Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Cruz in the 98th minute of play forced B1 Vegetal's goalkeeper César Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched B1 Vegetal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
