The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Délio Varela made a kick off. When William Tande fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored APCV's protests and gave William Tande a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes APCV got a freekick which was hit by William Tande. Samuca Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Samuca Albuquerque could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Artur Salgado however easily saved by the left post. 66 minutes into the game, Délio Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Artur Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artur Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Albuquerque in the 69th minute of play. When Filipe de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored APCV's protests and gave Filipe de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. If Délio Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded IMIRIM FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than APCV.
