In the 7thth minute of the game Délio Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarutaia SC's Ulryk Czubski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, IMIRIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Félix to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to IMIRIM FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Samuca Albuquerque hit a great ball. Fernando Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Guga Cordeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ulryk Czubski to make any attempt to save it. Jeferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrianinho Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarutaia SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Délio Varela scored to the left of an out of position Ulryk Czubski, making the score, 2-1. Samuca Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ulryk Czubski made a huge save. Ulryk Czubski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuca Albuquerque in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrianinho Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A wasted opportunity for Sarutaia SC. 81 minutes into the game, IMIRIM FC's Délio Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulryk Czubski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to IMIRIM FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fernando Félix hit a great ball. Germano Paraibano took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeferson do Vale. Jeferson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ulryk Czubski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Albuquerque in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Varela in the 92nd minute of play forced Sarutaia SC's goalkeeper Ulryk Czubski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarutaia SC's Ulryk Czubski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Albuquerque in the 94th minute of play.
