Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Julio Soin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, IMIRIM FC's Fernando Félix got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cabo Branco FC's Borys Trynda tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jeferson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Samuca Albuquerque scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Albuquerque got free with Fernando Bastos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Reis in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Cabo Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Passos to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 26th minute Julio Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Marcelinho Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabo Branco FC and the IMIRIM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cláudio Reis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the IMIRIM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Reis couldn't finish the play. Fernando Bastos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by IMIRIM FC's Samuca Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Samuca Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IMIRIM FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeferson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Bocșan in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Cabo Branco FC booed when IMIRIM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Julio Soin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cabo Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Soin couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes IMIRIM FC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Cordeiro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Borys Trynda hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fernando Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Passos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Cláudio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play, Cabo Branco FC's Paul Bocșan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Julio Soin lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Jeferson do Vale. Jeferson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Soin in the 73rd minute of play. Cabo Branco FC's Fernando Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Reis in the 74th minute of play. The nice shot from Julio Soin in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jeferson do Vale had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Samuca Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Julio Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson do Vale having to interfere. Cláudio Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IMIRIM FC's attentive Guga Cordeiro managed to snatch the ball when Adalberto Sá made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Albuquerque in the 92nd minute of play forced Cabo Branco FC's goalkeeper Fernando Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Paul Bocșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabo Branco FC and the IMIRIM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Paul Bocșan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Cabo Branco FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IMIRIM FC throughout the match.
