APCV's Artur Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Soin in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Julio Soin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cabo Branco FC's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when José Maria Veloso was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 14 minutes of play, Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Soin in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Salgado saved APCV from getting behind. Artur Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Soin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Artur Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Bocșan in the 32nd minute of play. Fernando Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo Baiano in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Julio Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Salgado was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Borys Trynda took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Salgado. Artur Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 41st minute Borys Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Borys Trynda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabo Branco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Trynda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo Baiano was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Artur Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Bocșan in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Vinícius Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APCV and the Cabo Branco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, APCV's Vinícius Pitta got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Soin in the 58th minute of play forced APCV's goalkeeper Artur Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, APCV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julio Soin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 65 played minutes APCV got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Paraibano. In the 69th minute, Paul Bocșan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 74 minutes into the game, Borys Trynda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Salgado. Borys Trynda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Cabo Branco FC's Fernando Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Baiano in the 77th minute of play. Fernando Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Artur Salgado was a little too slow when Julio Soin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Soin got free with Artur Salgado in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, APCV's goalkeeper Artur Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Bocșan. Artur Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Trynda in the 84th minute of the match. Julio Soin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Julio Soin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 85th minute. Kiko Paraibano got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kiko Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, APCV's Carlos de Azevedo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Artur Salgado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Borys Trynda. Cabo Branco FC played a much better game than APCV and deserved their victory. The APCV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
