Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Guga Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Negri, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. IMIRIM FC's Osvaldo da Mata managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aníbal de Lima in the 8 minute of the game. If Samuca Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aníbal de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Navegantes's goalkeeper Lauro Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuca Albuquerque. When Guga Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IMIRIM FC's protests and gave Guga Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Guga Cordeiro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jeferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in IMIRIM FC's zone, Orlando Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson do Vale came out of the goal and Orlando Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Orlando Negri put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jeferson do Vale. If Orlando Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Navegantes's Lauro Barral got control of the ball when Samuca Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lauro Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuca Albuquerque went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Meireles made a kick off. Jeferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuca Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Barral having to interfere. In the 59th minute Samuca Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Albuquerque took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Barral. Lauro Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 67 minutes of play, IMIRIM FC's Samuca Albuquerque made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuca Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauro Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of IMIRIM FC booed when Navegantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Orlando Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeferson do Vale skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd match minute, IMIRIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Albuquerque in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeferson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Davi Meireles sent off a good shot on target. Samuca Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lauro Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Albuquerque in the 96th minute of the match. IMIRIM FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Navegantes for a fine match.
