Borys Trynda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot 27 in the game by Julio Soin from a close distance when the talented Lauro Barral managed to make a qualified save. Navegantes's players were relieved. After 28 played minutes Navegantes got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal de Lima. Borys Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Trynda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Cabo Branco FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Borys Trynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Julio Soin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lauro Barral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Julio Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lauro Barral made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Borys Trynda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Meireles made a kick off. Lauro Barral came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabo Branco FC's José Maria Veloso. But to his dismay, José Maria Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Borys Trynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Borys Trynda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabo Branco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Trynda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute José Maria Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Bocșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Benjamin Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navegantes and the Cabo Branco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Navegantes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Benjamin Carioca hit a great ball. Borys Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, José Maria Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Veloso in the 82nd minute of play. Lauro Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Veloso in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Cabo Branco FC's José Maria Veloso made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Davi Meireless short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Fernando Bastos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cabo Branco FC's Felipe Queirós suffered a concussion in the 96th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Cabo Branco FC made a substitution. Waldemar Mazza replaced Felipe Queirós. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cabo Branco FC had played much better football throughout.
