The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elano Andrade during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Albuquerque in the 65th minute of play forced Avatarnense's goalkeeper Valdo Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IMIRIM FC's Jeferson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save IMIRIM FC from getting a goal against them. Jeferson do Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Varela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. Avatarnense's Wellington Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeferson do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Albuquerque in the 83rd minute of play forced Avatarnense's goalkeeper Valdo Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Varela in the 87th minute of the match. Jeferson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jeferson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Pinheiro in the 92nd minute. Avatarnense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
