Lauro Barral made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Aílton Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Aílton Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 朱泉夕 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lauro Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, 朱泉夕 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lauro Barral to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the game, 朱泉夕 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro Barral. 朱泉夕 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Quarahy getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Falcão Rossi hit a great ball. A collision led to Navegantes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adhemar Negri hit a great ball. After 28 minutes of play, Quarahy's Dênis Mello made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Leme in the 35th minute of play forced Quarahy's goalkeeper 秦洲森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, 朱泉夕 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wally Guzman during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Quarahy's Dino Esteves was substituted for Dênis Mello. Quarahy's Grzegorz Danisiewicz was substituted for Aílton Loyola. The wind increased when Davi Meireles made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Navegantes defense, Wally Guzman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauro Barral. The Navegantes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauro Barral should have stopped the shot. Davi Meireles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 秦洲森 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ronaldinho Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Barral having to interfere. Navegantes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
