Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Paulo Baiano made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes APCV got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Loureiro. After 56 played minutes APCV got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Bastos. Artur Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Recife in the 57th minute of the match. APCV's Artur Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save APCV from getting a goal against them. Gugu Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Artur Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Recife hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Nelson Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Artur Salgado made a huge save. Artur Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Amorim in the 88th minute of play. Artur Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Nelson Cerezo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Artur Salgado however easily saved by the left post. Vinícius Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Corinthians sp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
