Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Veloso in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spencer Hopson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Gifters Predations's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Soin came free, but Spencer Hopson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spencer Hopson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Soin in the 6th minute of the match. Célio Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Gifters Predations's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Trynda came free, but Spencer Hopson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Borys Trynda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabo Branco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gifters Predations's Spencer Hopson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Trynda in the 21st minute of play. Gifters Predations's Ricardinho Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Gifters Predations's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Ian Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Spencer Hopson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Spencer Hopson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Soin in the 42nd minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Gifters Predations got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Silva. After 44 played minutes, Cabo Branco FC's Borys Trynda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Spencer Hopson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabo Branco FC reached it. After 46 minutes, Borys Trynda made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gifters Predations's Spencer Hopson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Gifters Predations players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabo Branco FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Soin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Spencer Hopson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Paul Bocșan sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Cabo Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Sá. Borys Trynda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Spencer Hopson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Amílton Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gifters Predations's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabo Branco FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, one of Gifters Predations:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gifters Predations. The goalkeeper, Spencer Hopson, was totally fooled by Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Borys Trynda took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Spencer Hopson to make any attempt to save it. Julio Soin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 72nd playminute. Spencer Hopson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Bocșan in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Trynda in the 78th minute of play forced Gifters Predations's goalkeeper Spencer Hopson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Ricardinho Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabo Branco FC's Fernando Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Gilvan Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match, Julio Soin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Spencer Hopson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fernando Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Santana's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Borys Trynda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Spencer Hopson. Borys Trynda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. In the 93rd minute, Cabo Branco FC's Paul Bocșan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Spencer Hopson. Spencer Hopson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Cabo Branco FC played a much better game than Gifters Predations and deserved their victory. The Gifters Predations players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
