Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Matorin in the 18th minute of play forced Prodigy Team's goalkeeper Rodolfo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes Prodigy Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Netto who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Netto in the 26th minute of play forced Prodigy Team's goalkeeper Rodolfo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Netto hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga França in the 33rd minute of play forced Prodigy Team's goalkeeper Rodolfo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Matorin in the 35th minute of play. Prodigy Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Fc the free kick. After 43 played minutes Prodigy Team got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Guerra. In the 45th minute Patrick Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Phoenix Fc were awarded a corner. Patrick Netto went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 47th minute, Andrézinho Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guga França to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Fc's goalkeeper Alexandre Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Alexandre Matorin took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rodolfo Maranhense to make any attempt to save it. Reinaldo Valle hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Guga França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Netto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Fc's Guga França got a free kick in the 66th minute. Reinaldo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Rodolfo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Matorin in the 71st minute of play. Guga França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga França in the 74th minute of play forced Prodigy Team's goalkeeper Rodolfo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Phoenix Fc got a corner. Prodigy Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Netto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Phoenix Fc's Patrick Netto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Maranhense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Zeng Ping Wei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prodigy Team's Jonas Guerra got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Jonas Guerra off the ground. In the 94th minute, Hamílton Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Maranhense. Prodigy Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Prodigy Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Phoenix Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
