In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapecoense's goalkeeper Romário Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phoenix Fc's Guga França was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alexandre Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Lopez in the 28th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Chapecoense's Luís Guilherme Lopez made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Netto scored 5-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guga França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Romário Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Phoenix Fc's Guga França ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romário Vaz. Romário Vaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. Chapecoense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Guga França scored to the left of an out of position Romário Vaz, making the score, 7-1. In the 44th minute, Guga França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romário Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Netto ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guga França to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Patrick Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Guga França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Vaz. Chapecoense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Genílson Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alexandre Cunha made a huge save. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Cearense was slow to take the kick. During this time Chapecoense's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alexandre Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romário Vaz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Fc's Alexandre Matorin. But to his dismay, Alexandre Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. With a little luck, Phoenix Fc's Alexandre Cunha got control of the ball when Wágner Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Alexandre Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Guga França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Luís Guilherme Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapecoense's protests and gave Luís Guilherme Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Chapecoense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Lopez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga França in the 90th minute of play forced Chapecoense's goalkeeper Romário Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Chapecoense's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Tuzzolino came free, but Romário Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Vidal's late challenge caught a Phoenix Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. 叶榕烽 hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Luís Guilherme Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phoenix Fc had played much better football throughout.
