The audience thought a goal was coming when César Sá got free with Rodolfo Maranhense in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Zé Augusto made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Meireles. Cojubim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cojubim FC's Jonas Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto in the 20th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Zé Augusto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Cojubim FC booed when Prodigy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jonas Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Gonçalves in the 42nd minute of play. Vítor de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Cojubim FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor de Moraes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrézinho Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Zé Augusto sped through Cojubim FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Meireles. Cojubim FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrézinho Gonçalves 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. If César Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Augusto could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Jonas Meireles however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Prodigy Team booed when Cojubim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Prodigy Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
