In the 13th minute, Guga França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 叶榕烽 hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jonas Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga França in the 20th minute of the match. Jonas Meireles was a little too slow when Patrick Netto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th minute of the match, Guga França tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas Meireles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Rafa Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cojubim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Tróia couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Patrick Netto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonas Meireles, passed just outside the right post. Jonas Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga França, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The throw-in from Fernandinho Cabral in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Phoenix Fc's Dedê Brodel. After 39 minutes of play, Phoenix Fc's Guga França made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga França, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Guga França fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alexandre Matorin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Phoenix Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 叶榕烽 took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Meireles. Jonas Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guga França to make the kick off. Cojubim FC's Jonas Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Ping Wei in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes Cojubim FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Netto who took care of the corner kick. But to his dismay, Patrick Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jonas Meireles didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Phoenix Fc's Guga França shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonas Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Netto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Guga França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Meireles having to interfere. Patrick Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Netto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Guga França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Phoenix Fc's Ernesto Tuzzolino was substituted for Alexandre Matorin. When Guga França came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Phoenix Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga França couldn't finish the play. Guga França took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Meireles. Phoenix Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
