Luís Guilherme Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 46th minute Luís Guilherme Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Glauco Alagoano's late challenge caught a Chapecoense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Guanandi's Patrick Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Guanandi from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Terra in the 80th minute of play forced Guanandi's goalkeeper Patrick Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Guanandi's goalkeeper Patrick Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Carioca.
