Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amílton Pontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RICO FC! João Francisco Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The Saldanha FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Saldanha FC's Cléberson Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Francisco Soeiro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Saldanha FC's Álmos Földvári. But to his dismay, Álmos Földvári quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Dainius Damušis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Soeiro having to interfere. João Francisco Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dainius Damušis in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Trevisan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dainius Damušis in the 26th minute of play forced RICO FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dainius Damušis took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Francisco Soeiro. João Francisco Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some careless play in the RICO FC defense, Dainius Damušis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco Soeiro. The RICO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco Soeiro should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute João Francisco Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Pontes's late challenge caught a Saldanha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, RICO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Pontes to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Soeiro came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Saldanha FC's Álmos Földvári. But to his dismay, Álmos Földvári quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 48th minute, Pedro Paulo Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Saldanha FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dainius Damušis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dainius Damušis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldanha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dainius Damušis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Álmos Földvári managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldanha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álmos Földvári was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, RICO FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléberson Alagoano. Diego Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Roberto da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto da Rocha hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Cléberson Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Francisco Soeiro. Cléberson Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The supporters of RICO FC booed when Saldanha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álmos Földvári didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the RICO FC defense, Álmos Földvári kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco Soeiro. The RICO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco Soeiro should have stopped the shot. Dainius Damušis took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Francisco Soeiro. João Francisco Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. After 81 played minutes RICO FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Pontes. In the 84th minute, Pedro Paulo Trevisan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Francisco Soeiro. The goal made the score 0-11. Saldanha FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
