Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dadá Paraense got the match started through his kick off. Pedrinho Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Campidelis in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, José Augusto de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Placa defense, Elói Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Pinho. The Placa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Pinho should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes Placa got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Rezende. In the 19th minute, Luís Fernando Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Rezende got free with Jeferson Xavier in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elói Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Pedrinho Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapecoense. Elói Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pedrinho Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Mendes in the 34th minute of play. Chapecoense's Jeferson Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Paraense in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Chapecoense getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulo Renato Velloso hit a great ball. Elói Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Placa's Luís Fernando Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino Vides made a kick off. Placa's Dadá Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeferson Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Paulo Renato Velloso hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Jacinto during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Fernando Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jeferson Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chapecoense's Jeferson Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Arantes in the 69th minute of play. Dadá Paraense spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chapecoense's goal. 73 minutes into the match, Chapecoense's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Paraense came free, but Jeferson Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Murillo Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Xavier. Chapecoense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Placa's Pedrinho Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Placa from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Chapecoense's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Mendes came free, but Jeferson Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Diamantino Vides came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chapecoense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Vides couldn't finish the play. Pedrinho Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fernando Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Placa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
