The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseu Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cavalcante in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Ademar da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inugami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luizão Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Enrique Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27thth minute of the game Ademar da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Curinhaem getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marcelinho Falcão hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curinhaem's zone, Ademar da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Custódio came out of the goal and Ademar da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar da Fonseca in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Jorge Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inugami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Luizão Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato da Silveira in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Enrique Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Inugami getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Yuri Pimenta hit a great ball. Eliseu Custódio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ademar da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Ademar da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar da Fonseca in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the game, Ademar da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseu Custódio. Ademar da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. A collision led to Inugami getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Yuri Pimenta hit a great ball. Valério Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ademar da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Custódio having to interfere. Inugami's Ademar da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Donato da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Reis. Inugami's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Curinhaem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inugami were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
