VSKG Esporte Clube's Jardel Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar da Fonseca in the 29th minute of play. Rui Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enrique Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Ademar da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inugami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, VSKG Esporte Clube's Mateus Arantes got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Zé Pedro Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Reynaldo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Murilo Lima fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inugami's protests and gave Murilo Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Inugami got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Lima. Alan Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rui Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enrique Reis. That made the score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play.
