Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ademar da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ademar da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato da Silveira in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio got control of the ball when Ademar da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Donato da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valério Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eliseu Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valério Leme in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 47th minute, Jorge Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato da Silveira in the 49th minute of play forced Inugami's goalkeeper Enrique Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Curinhaem's Afonsinho Esteves got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Afonsinho Esteves hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Eliseu Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 68 played minutes Curinhaem got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Falcão. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Porto during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inugami booed when Curinhaem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Curinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Curinhaem succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Inugami had controlled the match.
