Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of VAXCO 777 booed when Faro AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The VAXCO 777 fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when VAXCO 777's Dadá Fernandes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arí Tróia came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by VAXCO 777's Benjamin Barreto. But to his dismay, Benjamin Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Faro AD's Valério Guerra pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 18th match minute, VAXCO 777 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Braga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Paraibano got free with Faustão de Alcântara in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Diego Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Fernandes in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Tróia saved Faro AD from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Lara during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Faro AD! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for VAXCO 777. Zé Paulo Maia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arí Tróia. 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Valdir Paraibano could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Faustão de Alcântara however easily saved by the left post. Benjamin Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Tróia having to interfere. Arí Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Fernandes in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Faro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Fernandes came free, but Arí Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Benjamin Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arí Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in VAXCO 777's zone, Valdir Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão de Alcântara came out of the goal and Valdir Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Faro AD's Valdir Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When VAXCO 777's Dadá Fernandes in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faro AD's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Faro AD's goalkeeper Arí Tróia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Fernandes. 93 minutes into the game, Dadá Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Arí Tróia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over VAXCO 777 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Faro AD throughout the match.
