The referee ignored Tubarão EC's protests and gave Gilvan Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. Gilvan Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Rubens Batista was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Azevedo. Rubens Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubens Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Guardo in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Azevedo got free with Rubens Batista in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute of the match LUIZ PANATO got a corner. Tubarão EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rubens Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aki Guardo in the 35th minute of play. Rubens Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony das Neves in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Carlos Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rubens Batista, 6-0. LUIZ PANATO's Aki Guardo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Tubarão EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aki Guardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After 62 minutes of play, LUIZ PANATO's Aki Guardo made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Aki Guardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUIZ PANATO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aki Guardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tubarão EC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zé Carlos da Mata hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, LUIZ PANATO's Carlos Azevedo made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubens Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Azevedo in the 71st minute of the match. Tubarão EC's Rubens Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. Rubens Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Guardo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Carlos Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LUIZ PANATO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Rubens Batista came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by LUIZ PANATO's Aki Guardo. But to his dismay, Aki Guardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony das Neves in the 86th minute of play forced Tubarão EC's goalkeeper Rubens Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Tubarão EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Azevedo came free, but Rubens Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, LUIZ PANATO's Tostão Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubens Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Rubens Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aki Guardo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Carlos Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubens Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0.
