Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Marques to make the kick off. After having played for 86 minutes, Tarcisio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catadupas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Flamengo VM getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luís Paulo Maciel hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Flamengo VM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Rosado to maneuver through the defense.
