Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elano Trigo made the kick off which started today's match. When Adriano de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Elano Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Soares having to interfere. Cesinha Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonas Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesinha Gonçalves took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Soares. Jonas Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kleanthis Variamidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Elano Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Sirinhaem's Jaime Trigo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Soares came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sirinhaem's Elano Trigo. But to his dismay, Elano Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Elano Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Cesinha Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano de Queiroz to make the kick off. Elano Trigo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonas Soares firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 56th minute, Sirinhaem's Cesinha Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 59 minutes into the game, Amadeu Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirinhaem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sirinhaem's Amadeu Vargas got a free kick in the 59th minute. Elano Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonas Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Gonçalves in the 87th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Jonas Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Soares having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Sirinhaem's Amadeu Vargas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amadeu Vargas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sirinhaem protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amadeu Vargas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Palmeiras. Mathias Barral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kleanthis Variamidis. 2-4. The Palmeiras fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sirinhaem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
