The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Aki Guardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute Carlos Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the VAXCO 777 defense, Carlos Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão de Alcântara. The VAXCO 777 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. When LUIZ PANATO's Aki Guardo in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VAXCO 777's goalie prevented a goal. Faustão de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony das Neves in the 11th minute of play. The LUIZ PANATO fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when LUIZ PANATO's Carlos Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, VAXCO 777's goal looked a bit too open when Aki Guardo came free, but Faustão de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aki Guardo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão de Alcântara. Faustão de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Aki Guardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão de Alcântara. VAXCO 777's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aki Guardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Fellipe Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LUIZ PANATO's protests and gave Fellipe Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. Fellipe Cardozo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, VAXCO 777's goal looked a bit too open when Aki Guardo came free, but Faustão de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustão de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony das Neves in the 31st minute of play. Faustão de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Azevedo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Carlos Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Faustão de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40th play minutes Aki Guardo shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Faustão de Alcântara and just under the crossbar into goal. When Acácio Neves fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VAXCO 777's protests and gave Acácio Neves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VAXCO 777 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Acácio Neves hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half LUIZ PANATO were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dadá Fernandes made a kick off. If Aki Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Romeu Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Aki Guardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustão de Alcântara. The goal made the score 0-7. With an all-out effort, LUIZ PANATO's Faustão de Alcântara threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romeu Carioca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Faustão de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Aki Guardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aki Guardo. Faustão de Alcântara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aki Guardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 70 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Azevedo in the 75th minute of play forced VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão de Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony das Neves went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Faustão de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aki Guardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The VAXCO 777 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LUIZ PANATO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
