In the 54th minute Tarcisio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Serbülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tijucal FC's Fernando Cardoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Pires. André Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. André Pires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Cardoso in the 65th minute of play forced Catadupas's goalkeeper André Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catadupas's André Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Catadupas from getting a goal against them.
