Sidney Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rubens Batista made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Rafinha Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Mauro Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sidney Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedir Zor kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Flamengo VM booed when Tubarão EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubens Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Rosado's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 94 played minutes Tubarão EC got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Souto. The Flamengo VM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
