When Aki Guardo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the LUIZ PANATO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aki Guardo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aki Guardo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Lago saved AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Aki Guardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Lago having to interfere. After 27 played minutes AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Esteves. Aki Guardo scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When LUIZ PANATO's Aki Guardo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's Antônio Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony das Neves in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aki Guardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antônio Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Antônio Lago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony das Neves got free with Antônio Lago in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Carioca in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Rony das Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Lago. Thanks to some nice moves Aki Guardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Antônio Lago however easily saved by the left post. If Aki Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
