Jonas Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dadá Fernandess short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jonas Soares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dadá Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jonas Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VAXCO 777. Zé Paulo Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as VAXCO 777's Benjamin Barreto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Soares. That made the score 1-3 after 90 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VAXCO 777 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
