An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Sampaio in the 27th minute of play forced Tubarão EC's goalkeeper Rubens Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Real Alvinegro FC booed when Tubarão EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Sampaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The wind increased when Tomé Silva made the kick off in the second half. When Tomé Silva came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Real Alvinegro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Silva couldn't finish the play. Silvério Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Amaral having to interfere. Armandinho Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Rubens Batista made a huge save. Real Alvinegro FC played a much better game than Tubarão EC and deserved their victory. The Tubarão EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
