He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Laurgain to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dadá Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gustavo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Fernandes in the 57th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Bedir Zor made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. VAXCO 777's Faustão de Alcântara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Flamengo VM's Gustavo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Fernandes in the 62nd minute of play. Gustavo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Zé Paulo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dadá Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Laurgain in the 85th minute of play forced VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Flamengo VM's Sidney Rosado after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 92nd minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. The Flamengo VM players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented VAXCO 777 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
