Pedro Luiz Paiva made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Catadupas's André Luiz de Salles. André Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Ferreira in the 25th minute of the match. Catadupas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Glauco Lago 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In the 29thth minute of the game Allan Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catadupas's André Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Paulo Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but André Pires made a huge save. In the 35th minute, LUIZ PANATO's Allan Medeiros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Pires. André Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. André Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catadupas's André Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Medeiros in the 47th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catadupas's Rodolfo Mesquita got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tarcisio Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Allan Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Medeiros in the 60th minute of play forced Catadupas's goalkeeper André Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LUIZ PANATO's Allan Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glauco Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. André Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Pires came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by LUIZ PANATO's Luiz Paulo Ferreira. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 82nd minute Allan Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
