Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) LUIZ PANATO's Allan Medeiros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eurico Monteiro. Cotias's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 4 played minutes Cotias got a freekick which was hit by 杨克朗. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Medeiros in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Monteiro saved Cotias from getting behind. Eurico Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Pires in the 6th minute of the match. Eurico Monteiro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by LUIZ PANATO's Tomás de Lima. But to his dismay, Tomás de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of LUIZ PANATO booed when Cotias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Della Rocca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cotias's Eurico Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Azevedo in the 29th minute of play. Eurico Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! LUIZ PANATO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
