Otávio Matorin scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kleanthis Variamidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elano Trigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sirinhaem's Kleanthis Variamidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Toledo in the 20th minute of play. Cesinha Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Adriano de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kleanthis Variamidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
