Tostão Reis took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bahadır Serbülend. Bahadır Serbülend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute Romeu Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Serbülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahadır Serbülend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony das Neves in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Rony das Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bahadır Serbülend, 2-0. In the 14th minute Romeu Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Serbülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tijucal FC's Bahadır Serbülend got control of the ball when Rony das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Romeu Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Bahadır Serbülend to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Carioca in the 33rd minute of play forced Tijucal FC's goalkeeper Bahadır Serbülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Tijucal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Cardozo came free, but Bahadır Serbülend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahadır Serbülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu Carioca in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Rony das Neves took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Bahadır Serbülend to make any attempt to save it. Bahadır Serbülend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony das Neves in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Aki Guardo made a precise shot to the right of Bahadır Serbülend. Tijucal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Rony das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LUIZ PANATO's Rony das Neves was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rony das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tijucal FC's zone, Ronaldo Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahadır Serbülend came out of the goal and Ronaldo Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germano Pernambucano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bahadır Serbülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony das Neves in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Tijucal FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Vânderson Sampaio hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Romeu Carioca notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Tijucal FC's Bahadır Serbülend. Bahadır Serbülend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Tijucal FC defense, Fellipe Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahadır Serbülend. The Tijucal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahadır Serbülend should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Romeu Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Serbülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Rony das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Serbülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahadır Serbülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Cardozo in the 71st minute of play. But to his dismay, Romeu Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Tostão Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bahadır Serbülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu Carioca in the 91st minute of play. Tostão Reis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Mário Faria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guto Taffarel skillfully saved the ball. Tijucal FC's Bahadır Serbülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony das Neves in the 96th minute of play.
