Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guga Ferreira kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, HellCat Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Barral came free, but Vladimir Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Claudinho Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute of the match, Silas Rezende got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulão Corrêa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vladimir Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Barral in the 18th minute of play. Adhemar Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in HellCat Top Team's zone, Cafu Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Vinhas came out of the goal and Cafu Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulão Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Cafu Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of HellCat Top Team booed when Lakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulão Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Barral in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Vinhas saved HellCat Top Team from getting behind. Paulão Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Ferreira in the 41st minute of play. Lakers FC's Cafu Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu Barral made a kick off. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Ferreira in the 54th minute of play. Vladimir Vinhas had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cafu Barral from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Silas Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silas Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, HellCat Top Team's Silas Rezende got a free kick in the 56th minute. Guga Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Claudinho Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimir Vinhas. The goal made the score 0-2. Lakers FC made a substitution. Geovânio Falcão replaced Cafu Barral. A collision led to HellCat Top Team getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Guga Ferreira hit a great ball. Claudinho Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vladimir Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vladimir Vinhas made a huge save.
