Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto de Barros got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes of play, Vascão-ES's Zézinho Vinhas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafinha Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinho Godoi got free with Arnaldo Totakoxe in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Neves in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in São Vicente FC's zone, Virgílio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Madureira came out of the goal and Virgílio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11th play minutes Zézinho Vinhas shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Rafinha Madureira and just under the crossbar into goal. Rafinha Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Neves in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Zézinho Vinhas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, São Vicente FC's Gil Garcia got a free kick in the 21st minute. Virgílio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rafinha Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, São Vicente FC's Edinho Godoi got a free kick in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, São Vicente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Vinhas came free, but Rafinha Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Zézinho Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Virgílio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vascão-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute Zézinho Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zézinho Vinhas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Vinhas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 51st minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Rafinha Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Vinhas in the 55th minute of play. Rafinha Madureira was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Virgílio Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Virgílio Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Zézinho Vinhas succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. With a little luck, São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira got control of the ball when Virgílio Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vascão-ES were furious when Cléber Castro was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute, one of Vascão-ES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vascão-ES. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for São Vicente FC. Cláudio Cardozo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnaldo Totakoxe. 1-7. With a little luck, São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira got control of the ball when Virgílio Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Virgílio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Virgílio Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafinha Madureira. São Vicente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. When Virgílio Neves came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vascão-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Neves couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, São Vicente FC's Júlio Azevedo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Virgílio Neves took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Madureira. Rafinha Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. 90 minutes into the game, Virgílio Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-10. Rafinha Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, José Maria de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
