Diego Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Valqueire Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diego Leal. Zeca Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Camargo in the 20th minute of play. Ronaldo Camargo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 39 minutes into the match, Valqueire Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Zeca Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Lira. Ronaldo Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Zeca Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 71st minute, Ronaldo Camargo made a precise shot to the right of Zeca Senna. Valqueire Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Zeca Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gildo Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeca Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that FLU - TAMOIOS were the better team. FLU - TAMOIOS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
