Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arnaldo Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Zonta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Madruga fc got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Zonta. Madruga fc's Danilo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Martins in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Sergio Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noviscky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madruga fc's Danilo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ladio in the 13th minute of play. Madruga fc's João Paulo Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Cleiton Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Abbott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sergio Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Noviscky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Ladio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Noviscky booed when Madruga fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Ladio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Danilo Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noviscky. Cleiton Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Abbott having to interfere. When Cleiton Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Madruga fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleiton Aguiar couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Aírton Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Madruga fc booed when Noviscky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madruga fc's Danilo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ladio in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Martins in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

João Paulo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ian Abbott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Sergio Ladio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. João Paulo Sabóia's late challenge caught a Noviscky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Madruga fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Braedan Frew in the 73rd minute really tested Danilo Linhares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 75th minute, Gernando Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Madruga fc's Cleiton Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Abbott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Noviscky getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sergio Ladio hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes, Madruga fc's Gernando Bertassi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ian Abbott came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Madruga fc reached it. Danilo Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Martins in the 89th minute of play. Noviscky's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
