Silvério Peres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 13 minutes, Cleiton Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madruga fc and the Broca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Madruga fc's Cleiton Aguiar got a free kick in the 13th minute. Silvério Peres came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Madruga fc's João Paulo Sabóia. But to his dismay, João Paulo Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Madruga fc booed when Broca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Sabóia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. 29 minutes into the match, Broca's goalkeeper Silvério Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paulo Sabóia. With a little luck, Broca's Silvério Peres got control of the ball when João Paulo Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Cleiton Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Silvério Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Zonta in the 39th minute. Renan Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Danilo Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Vidal's late challenge caught a Broca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Broca's Silvério Peres got control of the ball when João Paulo Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Tasso to make the kick off. Silvério Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleiton Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Genílson Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Renan Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Aírton Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleiton Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Peres having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Arnaldo Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Antônio Carlos Matos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Broca's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Aguiar came free, but Silvério Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Broca's goalkeeper Silvério Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Broca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Madruga fc.
