Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Billy Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Parahiba AD's Pedro Moraes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Benedito Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiz Denovo was the one to do the kick off. Benedito Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiz Denovo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiz Denovo in the 60th minute of play forced Parahiba AD's goalkeeper Benedito Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Cícero Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Sandström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedito Castro having to make a save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Fiz Denovo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parahiba AD's Benedito Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Parahiba AD's Benedito Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Sandström in the 92nd minute of play. If Cícero Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BANDOLEIROS osasco were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
