Téo Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nildo Terra went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Téo Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breno Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A collision led to J.A. 100 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Allan Fernandez hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Humberto Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esporte Clube Rio Bonito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Valdomiro do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro do Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Allan Fernandez's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes J.A. 100 got a freekick which was hit by Allan Fernandez. In the 36th minute, Percival Carneiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez didn't even have to move. Breno Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the J.A. 100 defense, Raimundo Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Fernandez. The J.A. 100 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Téo Fernandez came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's Breno Fonseca. But to his dismay, Breno Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Fonseca to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcinho Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.A. 100's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breno Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Téo Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdomiro do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo Fernandez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nildo Terra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st match minute, J.A. 100 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian de Souza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Breno Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez got control of the ball when Breno Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in J.A. 100's zone, Fabrício Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Fernandez came out of the goal and Fabrício Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabrício Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Téo Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito played a much better game than J.A. 100 and deserved their victory. The J.A. 100 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
