J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno de Amorim in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Miranda in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Fernandez saved J.A. 100 from getting behind. In the 11th minute Carlos Eduardo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, J.A. 100 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Magno de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes J.A. 100 got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Madureira. Téo Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Eduardo Miranda's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Carlos Eduardo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Parahiba AD booed when J.A. 100 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Benedito Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when J.A. 100's Marcinho Furlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Magno de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Parahiba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno de Amorim couldn't finish the play. J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Miranda in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Magno de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Téo Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Eduardo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Magno de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Miranda in the 46th minute of play. Pedro Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Magno de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Fernandez having to interfere. With a little luck, J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez got control of the ball when Magno de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of J.A. 100 booed when Parahiba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes Parahiba AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Delfim Paraibano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on J.A. 100's corner Delfim Paraibano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedito Castro quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parahiba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Parahiba AD's Carlos Eduardo Miranda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2.
