Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilian de Souza started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, J.A. 100's Marcinho Furlan got a free kick in the 9th minute. Nildo Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes, J.A. 100's Delfim Paraibano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedito Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in J.A. 100 reached it. In the 17th minute, Nelson Urbano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Téo Fernandez. The goal made the score 1-0. J.A. 100's Marcinho Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Paraibano during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Marcinho Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute of the match J.A. 100 got a corner. Parahiba AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delfim Paraibano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on J.A. 100's corner Delfim Paraibano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedito Castro quite easily take care of the ball. If Wilian de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Parahiba AD's Magno de Amorim made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Téo Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Miranda in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carlos Eduardo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Eduardo Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Eduardo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Téo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Carlos Eduardo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Parahiba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian de Souza came free, but Benedito Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parahiba AD's Carlos Eduardo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Magno de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Allan Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the J.A. 100 and the Parahiba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, J.A. 100's Allan Fernandez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Magno de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Allan Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes J.A. 100 got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Baiano. When Carlos Eduardo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Parahiba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Miranda couldn't finish the play. Téo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in J.A. 100's zone, Magno de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Fernandez came out of the goal and Magno de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parahiba AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
