He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leão 1918 reached it. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivo Melo was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Marcelinho Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Leão 1918 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
