Patcha FC made a substitution. Álvaro da Cunha replaced Dito Abreu. Humberto Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rubinho Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Fonseca to make the kick off. Geovani Ferraz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Gomes in the 71st minute of play forced Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's goalkeeper Rubinho Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Waldemar Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's Rubinho Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
